Slipping into Fall

Say hello to satin goodness!

Not sure what to wear to your next evening event this late summer or fall? This slip-on midi dress has all the flatter without the fuss.

I wore this dress on an evening out with my husband while in Basel, Switzerland and it felt light, smooth and just right. We did catch a windy evening (sun goes down at about 10pm!), and the satin fabric created some really beautiful movements and shine. The romantic look of the fabric makes it more dressy. To add my own flare and make the look more casual, I wore the dress with a short sleeve silk top, because after all, the sun was still up!

Knee-length dresses are not typical for me, however, when I added these sexy caged heels the look became complete! In addition, the dress has a beautiful side slit and the movement the fabric created with a bit of a breeze was so dreamy! Most of all, this classic slip-on midi dress can be worn without the top for an elegant night look, yet it can also look great worn with flats and a sportier top for a more daytime appearance. I love transitional pieces such as this piece!

This outfit was easy as 1-2-3, and that’s how getting ready should be!
